Allan Goldstein

Allan Goldstein began his career as an attorney in 1974 at the New Jersey law firm of Shanley & Fisher, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions. He left Shanley & Fisher in 1976 to join Sobel & Lyon, where he was elected partner. In 1982, Allan founded the firm of Goldstein & Lyon in Florham Park, N.J.
In 1988, Allan led a buy-out of Vulcan Materials Co.’s detinning division and assumed the positions of chief executive officer & president of AMG. Under Allan’s leadership, AMG has grown into one of the largest scrap processors and scrap brokers in the United States.
Ron Zorn
Chief Operating Officer

Ron Zorn joined Vulcan Materials Co. in Birmingham, Ala. in 1973, eventually rising to the position of controller. Ron joined AMG as chief financial officer in 1988, shortly after AMG’s acquisition of Vulcan’s detinning operations. In 1999, Ron was elevated to the position of chief operating officer.
Brian Cohen

Brian Cohen joined AMG as controller in 1995 after spending nine years as an accountant with Ernst & Young. While at Ernst & Young, Brian served a number of manufacturing clients and was in charge of the AMG account. In 1999, Brian was named chief financial officer of AMG.
Don Forlani
Chief Commercial Officer & Senior Vice President

Don Forlani joined AMG in April 2004 as chief commercial officer & senior vice president after spending 35 years with Luria Brothers & Company, Inc. and its successor, Philip Metals Inc.
Don served in various commercial positions with Luria after joining the company in 1968, ultimately rising to the position of senior vice president in charge of commercial activities in 1992. Following Philip’s acquisition of Luria in 1997, Don was appointed executive vice president in charge of commercial activities. In 2002, he was named president of Philip.
Upon joining AMG, Don opened AMG’s Chicago trading office and assumed management of AMG’s commercial group.
Bob Chevalier
President, AMG Resources Midwest Corp. & COO

Bob Chevalier began his career in the metals industry in 1973 with Vulcan Materials Co. As general purchasing manager, he spent eight years in Sandusky, Ohio and six years in Birmingham, Ala. He also spent one year with Vulcan’s chemical division in Geismar, La.
Bob joined AMG in 1988 to organize the company’s general purchasing. He was instrumental in the inception of AMG’s used can purchasing program and oversaw the planning of the St. Paul, Minn. plant that was built in 1990. In 1993, Bob moved from Pittsburgh, Pa. to Gary, Ind. to handle purchasing for the midwest region. He also served as midwest region commercial director and was responsible for the purchase of scrap into all of AMG’s U.S. operations and all sales out of the St. Paul plant.
In August 1997, Bob was named president of AMG Resources Midwest Corporation, which has scrap-processing operations in Milwaukee, Wis. and St. Joseph, Mo. He is also AMG’s chief operating officer for the midwest region, overseeing activities in St. Paul, in addition to the Milwaukee and St. Joseph facilities.
Jim Orendorff, Sr.

Jim Orendorff, Sr.’s career in the metals industry began in Australia in 1970 with M&T Chemicals, Inc., a division of American Can Company. For six years, he served as a detinning plant manager. In that capacity, he was involved in the planning, building and commissioning of detinning plants in New Zealand and South Africa until he left Australia for the United States to take over as detinning manager for M&T’s East Indiana plant.
In 1978, Jim joined Proler International Corp. as detinning manager for its new continuous detinning plant in El Paso, Tex. Two years later, he transferred to Proler’s new detinning facility in Coolidge, Ariz., where he served as plant manger. Jim remained with Proler for 10 years, serving the last three years as general manager of the metal recovery division for its plants in El Paso, Coolidge, Lathrop, Cal. and Seattle, Wash.
In early 1989, Jim joined AMG’s commercial group. He spent three years in AMG’s Pittsburgh office before returning to Arizona in early 1995 to open AMG’s western office in Phoenix, Ariz. In May 1998, Jim was named president of AMG Resources Pacific Corp. and is now responsible for overseeing operations at AMG’s Lathrop facility, in addition to his continuing commercial responsibilities as AMG’s western marketing director.
Sean Kerrigan
Deputy Managing Director, AMG Industries Plc & Commercial Director

Sean Kerrigan began his involvement in the metals industry in 1974 with Ford Motor Company, where he spent 12 years in various posts in Ford’s foundry and forgings operations in Dagenham, U.K. and Leamington, U.K.
Sean eventually assumed purchasing responsibility for all of the Leamington foundry’s raw materials, including pig iron, coke, sand and ferrous and non-ferrous products. In addition, he was responsible for non-ferrous procurement for Ford’s radiator assembly operations. During the transition period from copper/brass radiators to aluminum radiators, Sean was the purchasing specialist in the Ford of Europe supplier survey team, tasked with establishing the European supply base for the Basildon, U.K. and Charleville, France manufacturing plants.
In 1986, Sean joined Coopers Metals in London, U.K. with general ferrous trading responsibilities. In 1989, he was hired as supplies manager for Smith & Company, where he was responsible for purchases and sales, predominantly within the foundry sector.
In 1996, Sean joined AMG to establish and manage a U.K. trading and brokerage division. In April 2000, he was appointed a director of AMG Industries Plc and, in August 2004, was named deputy managing director.
Eric Goldstein

Prior to joining AMG in August 2004, Eric Goldstein practiced law with the firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York, N.Y. At Cravath, Eric specialized in mergers and acquisitions and securities offerings, representing clients such as United Air Lines, Xerox, Vivendi Universal, Campbell Soup, DreamWorks, Cummins, Credit Suisse First Boston and Goldman Sachs.
In his role as vice president of AMG, Eric coordinates business development opportunities for the company and manages AMG’s Newark, N.J. facility.
Eric is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia Law School.
Kevin O’Bryan
Controller
Pittsburgh, Pa.
Kevin O’Bryan joined AMG in November 1999 as accounting manager and, in November 2004, was promoted to controller. Prior to joining AMG, Kevin spent three years with a mid-sized accounting firm in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Kevin is a graduate of Purdue University and a certified public accountant.
