AMG ANNOUNCES FORMATION OF
CHICAGO PLATE PRODUCTS DIVISION
Pittsburgh, PA (November 14, 2005) — AMG Resources Corporation is pleased to announce the formation of Chicago Plate Products, a new division that will expand upon AMG’s existing secondary steel business. Based at a new facility in East Chicago, IN, Chicago Plate Products is engaged in the purchase, processing and sale of secondary plate products.
AMG’s commercial group presently specializes in brokering secondary coils and other useable grades of non-prime steel to consumers worldwide. Among the various secondary products that AMG markets are master coils, pup coils, sheets (including wasters), excess prime steel, slit coils and plate & structural steel.
“The creation of Chicago Plate Products will enable AMG to offer known-chemistry secondary plate to our customers, in addition to the wide range of secondary steel products that we already offer,” said Don Forlani, AMG’s Chief Commercial Officer & Senior Vice President.
